Memories are fading,
Fantasies disappearing,
Hopes and wishes always tending.
With each night, new stories pending,
In a world where dreams are sending.
And with each new day, the sun is shining, as you rise, full of thinking.
The branches are glowing; flowers are blooming.
In this world, we find our place, can't blame you; spending time pretending.
You are lucky you are living.
Your journey is endlessly alluring.
Please give a detailed explanation about the meaning and main idea of this poem.
This poem indicates a strong connection to your goal, detailing how you plan to achieve it and the journey you have undertaken to reach it. The poem emphasizes the fantastic imagination that serves as a constant reminder to persevere, highlighting the notion that life must continue as it is.
Please explain your writing and thought process regarding this poem.
I wrote this poem one year ago. Our teacher instructed us to create something that we would remember or a vision of our life at that moment. I clearly remember naming this poem "Dreaming Days" because it vividly illustrates my life as if I were dreaming that the achievements I desire in life will come true.
Why did you choose to write this poem?
I chose to write this poem to convey the importance of persisting in the pursuit of our dreams. The lines "memories are fading, fantasies disappearing" explicitly suggest that all our thoughts and wishes must be translated into action. The final line, "a good journey is endlessly alluring," implies that one must continue and experience life to the fullest.
