Down by the seaside, toes in the sand

The thought still lingers of you grasping my hand

love can be easy

love can be hard

but missing you lately has tore me apart .

"do i stay or leave" i must decide

do you remember us down by the seaside?

Please give a detailed explanation about the meaning and main idea of this poem.

This poem is a speaking in a form of absent love. Love that is no longer felt, but still longed for. Its explaining the memories of them "down by the seaside" and if they should continue being in pain or let go of the love.

Please explain your writing and thought process regarding this poem.

I was relating it to a lot of relationships around me, and not necessarily the title is applicable but it relates to some of my past relationships also.

Why did you choose to write this poem?

I did this out of my own free time when I was in my own thoughts.
