BAMBOO FOREST AND FOG - By: Ayaana Khan

Fog wrapped in the bamboo

Silent covered me,

The trees were standing beneath

That unknown & heavy mist.

The soft rustle of leaves

which felt like a wind which

passes through trees. The hidden

pain, the strange lain, there was just

blood passing through veins.

The blurry vision & the fear

that wasn't seen. The thought that was

masked and the trembling that wasn't asked.

The ray of sun between the bamboos,

The alone chair which may fear.

There was something different

which was refused.

Maybe it was fear

which let me hear

& make my eyes tear.

The quite surrounding

& the strange lain,

Fog wrapped the bamboos

just like the silence covered

me & whispers something

among the trees.

Please give a detailed explanation about the meaning and main idea of this poem.

The main idea of this poem was my short period of time between bamboo forest and fog. The fog, bamboos, sun rays, alone chair and everything there was really peaceful and it is a part of me so I decided to write this poem basing on my peaceful moment in between the bamboo forest.
