It was one of those days where I couldn't say one positive thing to myself or to others. I strive to be kind to others and when I fail to do so I take it out on myself. The poem reflects a moment in time where I wanted to express what was happening during those overpowering feelings.
Why did you choose to write this poem?
To possibly be relatable to others and to showcase the feeling of being diffident
