The Truth of a Lie - By: Enyonam Ampo
I often wandered the dark path of truth. A curse
to endure whiles relinquishing the glories of
deceit. A crown to wear to have it tossed away
by a fallacy. Once gracious , now a mockery,
only to be rendered sane in a moral insanity.
Could gray be colorful for solace or just a
gloom to be pierced. To sit in constance rectitude has been shamed and ridiculed to
ennui. To lie to bruise truth to satisfy oneself
seems to be a partial band-aid to an eerie
torment. In that deceit, lies a truth to be beared
by the creator.
