The end.

What a funny concept

As it

Demands

That the

Story

That the

Life

That the

Love

Is over.

Alone you know

Its over

Its over

Its over

As you’ve be told

But does that stop you from

Spinning

Unravelling

Traveling

Down

Down

Down

Again and again?

Is it really over

Is it really

The End

If we hold it

Close

Enough

To remember it?

If we keep it

Warm

Next to our

Hearts

If we help it

Breathe with our

Breath

Will it end?

Or will it mold to us?

To tell

Our

Story?

The end.

What a funny concept.

As it is never

The end

As long as we

Believe there could be

Please give a detailed explanation about the meaning and main idea of this poem.

The meaning behind this poem lies in the feeling of everything ending around me and realizing that 'the end' is simply just a mindset.

Please explain your writing and thought process regarding this poem.

Stream of consciousness, really. Then I looked over it again and revised it.

Why did you choose to write this poem?

I suppose because I needed some reassurance myself, as recently everything seems to be falling apart.

Do you have any tips or anything to share with the youth writers who may be reading this?

Sounds silly, but if you have a feeling, write it down. See something pretty? Take a photo. Hear something funny? Carry around a quote book and scribble it down before it leaves your head. You never know where you might find inspiration.
